Bilingual Call Center Patient Service Representative (Arlington, TX)
Description: Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls, making and scheduling patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Book, coordinate and reschedule patients’ appointments. Relay necessary messages to staff.
2. Verify necessary information and record in the computer.
3. Maintain and update current information on physicians’ schedules ensuring that patients are scheduled properly.
4. Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages, and provide information.
5. Schedule office procedures and consultations.
6. Answer questions regarding patient appointments and testing.
7. Update patient information on all patients.
8. Maintains strictest confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance.
9. Participates in all other communal job duties necessary for functioning of the office.
10. Gets along well with others. Conducts themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times with co-workers, patients, physicians, vendors, and others.
11. Attend meetings as required.
12. Candidates must be bilingual.
Required Experience: One year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
Certified medical assistant, switchboard operator or receptionist preferred.
Necessary Skills: Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish.
Required Education: High school diploma or GED.
| Bilingual Front Office Clerical - Fort Worth
Description: Staff member will be cross-trained to do check-in/check-out reception, insurance verification, scanning, precerts, chart prep and other related front office duties.
Required Experience: Background in EMR helpful.
Verification of patient insurance coverage to include eligibility and benefits. Documentation of benefit verification in patient’s electronic file as appropriate.
Confirmation of active referral on file for scheduled appointment.
Collection of applicable co-payments and collections of outstanding GM balances as documented by the central business office from patients upon check-in per company protocol. Posting of patient payments in computer system.
Balance receipts daily and reconcile daily work processes. Completion of bank deposit slip to correspond with daily receipts. Immediate notification to supervisor of any discrepancies in balancing procedures.
Maintain physician’s schedules ensuring that patients are scheduled properly. Rescheduling of patients as necessitated due to schedule changes.
Necessary Skills: Must be bilingual
1 year clinical office experience.
Required Education: Must have High School Diploma or GED.

| CMA/RMA Prostate Cancer Center - South Arlington
Description: **Must be an LVN or Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (this includes more than just a Medical Assistant Diploma)**
Responsible for providing nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Assists physicians and staff in coordinating patient care. Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians.
Duties:
- Provides general nursing care to patients.
- Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
- Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness.
- Prepares list of medical supplies needed.

| Radiation Therapist
Description: Radiation Therapist Position - UANT Cancer Center (USMD Prostate Cancer Center)- Arlington, TX
Required Experience: Under the direct supervision of a Radiation Oncologist and under the general supervision of the Radiation Services Director, assists in the therapeutic application of radiation involving accurate positioning of patients and operation of radiation therapy equipment. Must work professionally with all colleagues within the Cancer Center; to provide compassionate, safe and timely care to both patients and family members. Must observe all safety rules, department policies and procedures.
Necessary Skills: Experience with Aria, Cone-beam CT, OBI, and CT simulation preferred. One year experience preferred. : Board certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist as a Radiation Therapist. Licensed as a certified medical Radiation Technologist by the State of Texas. CPR certified.
Required Education: Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program.

| Surgery Scheduler Assistant - South Arlington, TX
Description: Responsible for scheduling hospital surgical cases.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Schedule all cases as requested by physicians.
2. Print a daily surgery scheduling resource list. Contact each patient on scheduling list for that day to ascertain appropriate scheduling for patients and case.
3. Consult the surgery booking plan for each patient and schedule all aspects of the case accordingly.
4. Communicate orders and details of case to hospital, patient, the physician’s nurse, and insurance pre-certification secretary.
5. Coordinate schedules of multiple doctors. Arrange anesthesia as needed.
6. Ensure that all required special equipment for a case is requested and provided.
7. For USMD cases, deliver reservation sheets in a timely manner.
8. Monitor physicians’ surgery schedule to ensure efficient and productive use of physician time.
9. Maintain strictest confidentiality.
10. Participate in all other communal job duties necessary for functioning of the office.
11. Conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times with coworkers, patients, physicians, vendors, and others.
12. Attend meetings as required.
Required Experience: Two years work experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Previous surgery scheduling experience preferred.
Necessary Skills: KNOWLEDGE:
1. Knowledge of business office procedures.
2. Knowledge of medical terminology.
3. Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
SKILLS:
1. Skill with using a computer and various software applications, copy machine and fax machine.
2. Skill in using the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner to coordinate all aspects of scheduling.
ABILITIES:
1. Ability to multi-task.
2. Ability to handle high volume of scheduling and multiple deadlines.
3. Ability to communicate with physicians, Team Managers, clinical staff, hospital staff and patient.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Work requires hand dexterity for telephone, computer, and office machine operation, stooping and bending for supplies, sitting for extended periods of time.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an office environment and involves consistent telephone contact. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive. Individual may be required to travel to other locations for coverage as dictated by need. Contact involves dealing with sick people.
Required Education: High school diploma or GED.
