Reconstructive Urology
Dr. Nuss grew up in Denver, CO, and graduated from Cherry Creek High School. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on the Morehead Scholarship, where he earned his B.A. in English. He then relocated to Winston-Salem, NC where he attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After completion of his MD degree, he moved to Dallas where he trained at UT Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital as an intern in surgery and resident in urology. He completed his fellowship in Reconstructive Urology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. He then moved back to Dallas and joined UANT in August 2011.
Dr. Nuss has published many scientific papers and book chapters in the fields of urology and reconstructive urology. He is an active member of the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons and continues to conduct clinical outcomes research in reconstructive urology and male pelvic health.
Outside of work, Dr. Nuss is an avid amateur triathlete and has competed in several races including the Longhorn Ironman 70.3, the Chicago Marathon, and the Boston Marathon. He resides in Dallas.
