General Urology
Andrew C. Sambell, M.D. grew up in Arlington and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX and then served his general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Science Center, Norman, OK where he then completed a residency in Urology.
Dr. Sambell has served on several hospital and administrative board appointments, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology. He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association, Texas Urological Society and the Society of USAF Flight Surgeons. Since 2002, Dr. Sambell has served as a Major in the United States Air Force Reserve, 301st Aerospace Medicine Squadron, 301st Fighter Wing, NAS JRB Ft. Worth, Texas.
In 1996, Dr. Sambell moved to Waxahachie and opened a urology practice. Dr. Sambell lives in Waxahachie with his wife, Susan, and two children.
