Radiation Oncology
Peter LaNasa, M. D., Director of Radiation Oncology, grew up in Western New York. He attended University of Virginia for both undergraduate education and medical school. He completed his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey and achieved board certification, as a radiation oncologist, shortly thereafter.
Over the past decade, in addition to his clinical work, he has been the director of freestanding cancer center development, achieved certification for each affiliated center and implemented treatment modalities such as: 3-Dimensional Conformal Therapy, Prostate Seed implantation and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy.
Dr. LaNasa is Medical Director of the Harris Methodist Fort Worth CyberKnife® Department. This highly complex technology offers new hope for those with diagnosed with inoperable tumors.
Dr. LaNasa and his family make their home in Fort Worth. Interests outside of work include a focus on education and a number of sports, including golf and tennis.
