Achal Modi, MD, was born and raised in Rockford, IL. He received his B.S. in BioEngineering at University of Illinois in Champaign, IL during which time he worked as an Engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers. He then completed his medical degree at Ohio State Medical School in Columbus, OH. Dr. Modi finished his internship and residency training at Ohio State University Medical Center where he published several papers and abstracts in minimally invasive treatments for Urologic diseases and presented his results at various scientific meetings.
He practices general urology with special interests in kidney stones, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, BPH, vasectomy, and minimally invasive and robotic surgery for cancer and reconstructive urology.
Dr. Modi is a member of the American Urological Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the American College of Surgeons.
He, his wife Jaina and his daughter reside in Arlington. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and watching football.
