Ali R. Shirvani, M.D. grew up in Houston. He attended the University of Houston and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Shirvani completed his surgical and urologic residency training at Louisiana State University/Ochsner in New Orleans in 1999.
Dr. Shirvani is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He has been in practice in Irving since 1999 and joined Urology Associates of North Texas in August 2002. Dr. Shirvani is the vice chairman of surgery at Las Colinas and serves on their Medical Center Credentialing and OR committees. He is also a member of the Surgery Advisory Board at Las Colinas Medical Center. Dr. Shirvani is a member of the American Urological Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, Texas Urological Association, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Association.
Dr. Shirvani is married and lives in Plano.
