David S. Ellis, M.D., a native of Fort Worth, completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University. He attended medical school at the University of Texas in Houston. His surgical and urologic residency training was also completed at the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
After a brief stint in South Carolina, he returned to Arlington in 1990. He has extensive experience in the treatment of prostate cancer and now performs more cryosurgical procedures than any physician in the United States. He has numerous journal publications on Cryoablation to his credit and helped author The Best Practice Pattern Guidelines for Cryotherapy for the American Urologic Association. He sits on the boards of The Cold Registry, The Salvage Registry, and The Focal Registry for cryoablation. He has lectured and trained physicians both nationally and internationally. Dr. Ellis is Board Certified.
Dr. Ellis and his wife reside in Arlington with their three children.
