David S. Ellis, M.D., a native of Fort Worth, completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University. He attended medical school at the University of Texas in Houston. His surgical and urologic residency training was also completed at the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
After a brief stint in South Carolina, he returned to Arlington in 1990. He has extensive experience in the treatment of prostate cancer, using both surgery as well as brachytherapy (radioactive seeds) and cryosurgery. He sits on the Advisory Board of the Cancer Research Foundation. His other area of expertise is no-scalpel vasectomy. Dr. Ellis is Board Certified and has recently been recertified.
Dr. Ellis and his wife reside in Arlington with their three children.
