E. Paul Kaplan was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kaplan attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1987. He recieved his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1991. Dr. Kaplan completed his urologic surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern (Parkland Hospital) in Dallas. From 1997-2001 he served on Active Duty as a staff urologist and clinical instructor at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Kaplan returned to Dallas in 2001 to practice at Medical City Hospital. He joined UANT in 2005 and continues his practice in Dallas. Dr. Kaplan is Board Certified in Urology. He resides in Dallas.
