Diane C. West attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas at Austin, receiving her degree in Zoology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she also served her internship and residency in urology.Having moved around as an "Army brat," Dr. West finished high school in Texas, where she was a National Merit Commended Scholar.
In addition to Dr. West's urology training, she has also served as a research fellow at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Research Division, Smithville, Texas.
Dr. West has been in private practice since 2001, becoming a member of Urology Associates of North Texas in 2002.
A member of several professional associations, Dr. West is a member of the American Medical Society, American Urological Society, Texas Medical Society, Tarrant County Medical Society and the Society for Women in Urology.
Dr. West and her husband, Ramzi, have a daughter, Elise, born in May 2006.
